PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel (meth)acrylate compound which is excellent in hydrophilicity while being water-repellent, and a polymer of the same. SOLUTION: A novel (meth)acrylate having a phosphatidylcholine group and a fluoroalkyl group is synthesized. A polymer obtained from the compound is excellent in hydrophilicity, and, for example, a coating film formed from a solution of the polymer is water-repellent and free from dewing.
