PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and firmly connect a pipe member 4 with a bracket member 1 in a modular wiper device constituted by connecting the bracket member 1 by the pipe member 4. SOLUTION: A support member 7 having a truncated conical shape is protrudedly formed in the bracket 1. On the other hand, the pipe member 4 is provided with a first through hole 4a in which a bent piece 4c immersed in a conical cylindrical shape in the pipe is formed and a second through-hole 4b in which a bolt 9 passes through while it abuts on a tip face part 7a of the support member. By screw-fitting the bolt 9 into the tip face part 7a of the support member, a peripheral fringe part of the second through hole 4b is nipped and held between a bolt head 9a and the tip face part 7a of the support member, and the bent piece 4c is pressed in an outer peripheral face of the support member 7 to realize firm connection without causing play.
