PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head which has a high joining strength, a high ink jet efficiency and a high reliability when any two of members for constituting the ink jet head are joined by a thin layer of a resin adhesive layer. SOLUTION: The ink jet head is provided with a nozzle plate, a liquid chamber member in which pressure liquid chambers and a common liquid chamber are formed, and a driving member for discharging ink from nozzles. Any two members of the nozzle plate, the liquid chamber member and the driving member are joined by the resin adhesive layer. Materials of the two members (e.g. the nozzle plate 20 and the liquid chamber member 21) are rigid bodies having mutually different coefficients of linear thermal expansion. A polyimide resin coating (polyimide film 1) is formed to a joining face of at least one of the two members, and then the two members are joined by the resin adhesive layer (adhesive 2), whereby the ink jet head is constituted.
