PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an addition-curable silicone resin composition forming a transparent cured product having a high strength, especially a high flexural strength, and a high hardness. SOLUTION: This composition contains (A) 100 pts.wt. specific organopolysiloxane containing a phenyl group and two or more alkenyl groups per molecule, (B) from 1 to 100 pts.wt. specific organohydrogenpolysiloxane containing a phenyl group and two or more SiH groups per molecule and (C) an effective amount of a hydrosilylation catalyst.
