PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet which shows superior resistance to blot over time under high temperature and high humidity environments and anti-ozone properties without impairing the other ink receiving performance such as ink absorption and prevents the color of a formed image from fading over time and retains the image in a well stabilized state. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording sheet having a coloring material receiving layer formed on a support, the coloring material receiving layer contains at least one kind of chemical compound with an aliphatic carbon-carbon double bonding group present in a molecule. The chemical compound has preferably a molecular weight of 1,000 or less and at least, either of a hydroxyl group, an amino group, a carboxyl group and a sulfonic group in the same molecule. |
