PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording material which uses a diazonium salt compound and a coupler compound as color developing components and has a sufficient color developing sensitivity and satisfactory absorption characteristics. SOLUTION: This heat-sensitive recording material has a heat-sensitive recording layer containing at least the diazonium salt compound, the coupler compound which causes a color development through chemically reacting with the diazonium salt compound and bases formed on a support. In this material, the coupler compound is a chemical compound represented by formula (I) and the bases are organic bases represented by formulae (II) to (IV). |
