RESIN AND RESIN COMPOSITION FOR LASER MARKING, AND MOLDED ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin or resin composition for laser marking, which can exhibit a vivid white marking by irradiation with laser beams and which is excellent in capability of being recycled, and a molded article made therefrom. SOLUTION: The resin for laser marking comprises an aromatic polycarbonate copolymer containing 0.1-10 mass% of polyorganosiloxane structural units. The resin composition for laser marking is obtained by blending (A) the aromatic polycarbonate copolymer and (B) an aromatic polycarbonate resin, and it contains 0.1-10 mass% of polyorganosiloxane structural units. The molded article is made by molding the resin or the resin composition.
