PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muscat perfume having a fruitiness and a full ripeness, and having a muscat flavor inherent in the Muscat Of Alexandria, and food and drink having a muscat flavor. SOLUTION: The muscat perfume contains 4-mercapto-2-pentanone in a concentration of 10<-3> to 10<4> ppb. The food and drink having a muscat flavor contains 4-mercapto-2-pentanone in a concentration of 10<-6> to 10<2> ppb. 4- Mercapto-2-pentanone is added to a grape juice composition to give a concentration of 10<-6> to 10<2> ppb in the composition.
