<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency induction heating method of a crank shaft and an apparatus therefor, by which pin parts or journal parts of the crank shafts different in diameter can be heated with the same kind of a high frequency induction hearting coil and the heating coil can be used in common. SOLUTION: A pressing force imparting means 11 (e.g. a cylinder device 12 or a spring 21) for imparting the pressing force is attached to an assembly S of the high-frequency induction heating coil 3a and a plurality of placing chips 5a-5c in the horizontal direction, and when the pin parts and the journal parts are subjected to high-frequency induction heating while the high-frequency induction heating coil are allowed to follow up the pin parts or the journal parts, the pressing force is always applied to the assembly S in the horizontal direction by the pressing force imparting means 11.</p> |
