PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rapier head for preventing the damage and breakage of under warp caused by the catch of an under warp of defective opening by a bottom wall of the rapier head. SOLUTION: In this rapier head at a yarn feeding side of a rapier loom in which the rapier head has a bottom wall, a side wall at a tip side which is a side wall standing from an end of one edge part in the width direction of the bottom wall and has an upper edge at the tip side and a lower edge at the tip side mutually converging toward the point to form a tip to be the point side of the rapier head, a side wall at the opposite side which is a side wall standing from an edge part of the other in the width direction of the bottom wall and has an upper edge at the opposite tip side extending downward slantingly toward the point and transports a weft and transfers the weft to the rapier head at an opposite yarn feeding side, the rapier head is equipped with an inclination which is formed at least at the part of the opposite tip side at the point side, forms an obtuse angle to the lower side of the bottom wall and extends slantingly upward from the lower side of the bottom wall to the point.
