PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a master for heat-sensitive stencil printing capable of always obtaining a print image of excellent image quality with small grain scumming, elongation/breakage of the mater without lowering a heat sensitivity. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the master for the heat-sensitive stencil printing comprises a step of impregnating a porous nonwoven sheet or a thin sheet with a synthetic resin A by coating the resin (synthetic resin A) on the nonwoven sheet or the thin sheet, a step of coating a thin layer made of a synthetic resin (synthetic resin B) on the thermoplastic resin film, a step of superposing the porous nonwoven sheet or the thin sheet impregnated with the resin A and the thermoplastic resin film coated with the resin B before the resin A and the resin B are solidified, and a step of thereafter adhering the nonwoven sheet or the thin sheet by completely solidifying the resin A and the resin B.
