PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a user feels physical disorder when taking a picture owing to the time difference of proper exposure control between a silver halide photography system and an electronic photography system in a dual purpose camera for silver halide photography and electronic photography. SOLUTION: This dual-purpose camera for silver halide photography and electronic photography has a silver halide photographing means and a digital photographing mean and is equipped with a 1st photometric means which has a dedicated photometric element, a 2nd photometric means which measures the light of a subject by using a digital image signal generated by an electronic image pickup device of the digital photographing means, an electronic photography initial driving condition setting means which sets initial driving conditions at the start of the electronic photographing means according to the photometry result of the 1st photometric means, and an electronic photography exposure control means which adjusts and controls the exposure of the electronic photographing means according to the photometry result of the 2nd photometric means after the initial driving conditions of the electronic photographing means are set by the electronic photography initial driving condition setting means. |
