PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray tube device which can realize the designing of a smaller lightweight tube container while keeping the safety in the case of an excessive input into the X-ray tube device due to, e.g. an installation unit failure, and which can be used under a higher thermal load, and an insulating oil used for it. SOLUTION: The insulating oil, in which an X-ray tube is immersed, contains at least one compound selected from (A) an alkylbenzene, (B) a compound represented by general formula (1), (C) a compound represented by general formula (2), and (D) a compound represented by general formula (3). |
