PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polycarbonate resin molding material (pellet) capable of providing a high-density disk substrate having extremely slight occurrence of silver steak and high reliability. SOLUTION: This optical polycarbonate resin molding material comprising the polycarbonate resin is characterized in that the resin has 1.3-1.7 average value of the ratio of major axis to minor axis of pellets (hereinafter major axis/minor axis) and 0.08-0.15 standard deviation of the ratio.
