PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping installation construction for an embedded faucet with which the connecting work for a piping unit can be easily performed. SOLUTION: A faucet main body 14 installed to a counter 2 of a built-in faucet 3 and a piping adapter 16 of city water piping introduced to the inside of the counter 2 are connected together through a piping unit 60 in this piping connecting construction 10, the piping unit 60 is equipped with connecting portions 82 and 62 with the shaft center directions respectively connected to the side of a faucet main body 14 and the side of a piping adapter 16 are mutually equipped with connecting portions 82 and 62 in almost perpendicular directions each other, in a state where one end side connecting portion 62 is connected to the piping adapter 16 side, it is provided in a freely slidable manner in the shaft center direction of the connecting portions 62 and in a freely rotating manner in the shaft center direction of the connecting portion 62.
