PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively and positively set so as to hold a hall side door panel in an opened state with narrow spacing in rescue work or the like. SOLUTION: In a hall side door opening and closing mechanism part 2 of an elevator, a lock lever 10 is rotatably attached to a door hanger 4 moving along with the hall side door panel 1a via a base member 7. When the door panel 1a is opened and moves a preset distance, the lock lever 10 engages with a locking base 12 by rotation to one direction of the lock lever by an unlock key and locks the door panel 1a, and it unlocks the door panel 1a by rotation to the opposite direction of the lock lever 10 by the unlock key.
