<p>The invention concerns a rotary electric machine (10), in particular a motor vehicle alternator, comprising a stator (12) with a generally cylindrical annular shape arranged in a housing (14) comprising a rear portion (16) and a front portion (18), wherein the outer axial surface (24) of the stator (12) defines, with the inner axial surface (30) of the housing (14), an annular radial space (32), and wherein the stator (12) is mounted elastically suspended inside the housing (14). The invention is characterised in that at least part of the annular radial space (32) contains elastically deformable heat-conductive resin (50) which is radially interposed between the housing (14) and the stator (12) to provide radial mechanical disengagement between the stator (12) and the housing (14), and to dissipate heat energy from the stator (12) towards the housing (14).</p> |
