PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently execute polishing which is executed after forming annular molding recessed parts each having a recessed semicircular cross section and an annular shape in a plan view in an O-ring mold (material) by machining. SOLUTION: This polishing method uses a form polishing jig having a resin form protrusion whose tip part has a projecting semicircular cross section and an annular shape in a plan view, corresponding to the annular molding recessed part 11. A polishing cloth and an abradant are interposed between the annular molding recessed part 11 and the annular form protrusion, and the recessed part 11 and the protrusion are relatively turned while applying the pressurizing force between the recessed part 11 and the protrusion, to execute the polishing. |
