PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a screw-cap container wherein a beverage can be directly taken from a container mouth without a sense of incongruity applied to lips, the container can be resealed even if there is a residual, a content liquid do not stick to a thread due to dripping after the highly viscous content liquid is filled and discharged, and the drip if any can be cleanly wiped off. SOLUTION: In the screw-cap container having a thread on an outer periphery of the container mouth to allow a cap to be screwed with, the thread 3 is notched within a range of approximately a third of the outer periphery of the container mouth under a condition that 50/D<=θ<=140/D is satisfied (where D is an outer diameter of the container mouth in mm, and θ refers to a circular arc angle in radian). Then a flat unthreaded notch 5 is provided on the outer periphery of the container mouth. |
