PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent waste of effective recording paper sheets by ejecting effective recording paper sheets out of a device at the occurrence of paper jamming, even in the case that many recording paper sheets are circulated on a paper path to perform double-face recording. SOLUTION: In a copying machine, ejection destination information indicating whether a recording paper is to be ejected out of the machine or be carried to an inverting route, detection position information of the recording paper on a carry line, and paper jamming information of the recording paper are registered in a memory, with respect to each recording paper fed to the carrying line, and a carrying route switching part 105 is controlled so that recording paper sheets to be ejected are discriminated, on the basis of ejection destination information and detection position information at the occurrence of paper jamming in the carrying line, and these recording paper sheets are ejected out of the machine when this is discriminated, by paper jamming information of these recording paper sheets that they are not causing paper jamming. |
