<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily carry out recycling treatment and to obtain a recycled product having a stabilized internal specific gravity and good appearance and dimensional stability with uniform internal fusion when a large-sized recycled foam resin block is recycled by utilizing a waste such as a foamed resin block. SOLUTION: Cut residual materials rejected when the foamed resin block is cut are cut to 10-30 mm size to form square pieces, which are then mixed with unused prefoamed particles. The mixing ratio of the square pieces is <=60% and the resultant mixture is filled from a filling port 4 in the interior of a metal mold 1. In the process, the thickness of the metal mold 1 is opened by >=5% based on the thickness of the final product and the mold is closed to the thickness of the final product and heated with steam when the filling is completed. After filling the mixture from the filling port 4, only the prefoamed particles are filled and heated with steam.</p> |
