PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide recyclable recording medium from which the image made of a hot-melting or thermoplastic resin image-forming substance can be stripped off by applying an image removal acceleration solution to the surface and bringing the peeling member in the form of a drum or belt into contact with the image-formed medium, as they are heated with medium curling reduced in the heat treatment for recycling. SOLUTION: The objective recording medium having an image of hot-melting or thermoplastic image-forming material formed on the medium surface can be recycled by applying an image removal acceleration solution to the recorded medium surface and bringing the peeling member in the form of a drum or belt into contact with the used medium, as they are heated with the medium curling reduced in the heat treatment for recycling. The recording medium comprises the base material layer mainly made of cellulose fiber and both of the surface and back surface layers mainly made of the same hydrophilic resin on the surfaces of the base layer.
