PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a filter attaching and detaching device which enables a filter to be threadably engaged with a filter screw-in ring of a lens barrel to be easily detached in such a case and threadably engages the filter without any play when it is screwed in. SOLUTION: The filter attaching and detaching device for lens barrel is characterized in that non-contact parts which do not come into contact with an intermediate end surface of a filter frame in a free state when the filter frame is threadably engaged with the screw-in ring are provided on the end surface of the filter screw-in ring at radially opposite parts respectively.
