PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excavator with high excavation accuracy, which dispenses with attachment of additional diggers thereto even when excavation has proceeded, and carries out excavation in a possible simplest manner at a low cost. SOLUTION: The excavator houses a multi-arm unit in a cylinder thereof. The multi-arm unit is constructed by sequentially outwardly fitting a number of arms on each other, and it is expandable by hydraulic pressure. The multi- arm unit has the digger mounted on the tip thereof, and the cylinder is provided with a rotating mechanism.
