METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR CONVEYING PAPER THREADING TAIL FOR PAPER MACHINE HAVING CENTRAL WINDING REEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To markedly improve the workability in starting a papermaking process, in a paper machine having a central winding reel, by safely and smoothly conveying a paper threading tail before reaching the reel after the step involving a calender and automatically winding the tail under tension on a reel winding frame. SOLUTION: This method for conveying a paper threading tail for a paper machine having a central winding reel is characterized by comprising the following procedure: the paper threading tail is conveyed on a single longer suction belt traveling under suction on a suction box so as not to cause dropping off the conveyor, deformation and breakage during its conveyance, transferred from the end point of the suction belt onto an air chute and conveyed to a reel winding frame, and then automatically wound on the winding frame under attractive tension by the action of counter jet stream.
