<p>Double relay has a sealed cylinder where 2 flat ends each have 2 internal electric contacts and an orifice which can be connected to a pressure fluid circuit. A pistons flat ends each carrying an electric contact. The piston can be moved sealingly in the cylinder by fluid pressure, and one of its contacts can be applied to a pair of cylinder end contacts at the end of its stroke. The piston/cylinder seal is pref. effected by flexible joints in circular grooves in the piston's sidewall. The relay permits discharge of 50,000 amps.</p> |
