PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake cable fitting device for a drum brake that excels in yield strength in a braking operation, has a function for preventing damage to an inner cable and water intrusion into a brake, and is structurally simple to reduce the number of parts and cost. SOLUTION: A backplate 10 has a cylindrical portion 10a, 10b integrally molded by pressing, and a casing cap 22a of an outer casing 22 constituting a brake cable 20 is mounted in the cylindrical portion 10a, 10b.
