FABRICATION METHOD OF MEDIA FOR CHEMICAL FILTER USING ION EXCHANGE RESIN AND REMOVAL METHOD OF HARMFUL GASES USING THE SAME

摘要

PURPOSE: A fabrication method of media for chemical filter using ion exchange resin and removal method of harmful gases using the same is provided, which use adsorbent that is excellent in adsorbing capacity thus extending life time and reducing waste caused by disposal of adsorbent. The ion exchange resin of the chemical filter also does not emit any secondary harmful substance thus enabling the filter to be industrially used. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the following steps: (i) attach ion exchange resin to metal wire woven mesh sieve, cation exchange resin and anion exchange resin being effectively treated according to targeted harmful gas; and (ii) attach ion exchange non-woven fabric at both sides of ion exchange resin attached to metal wire woven mesh sieve to reduce pressure drop applied to chemical filter.
