PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traverser which can move and stop a sensor for measurement and eliminates a fault of operations of moving and stopping, due to sticking of ink, dampening water or the like, and which does not hinder a printing operation in the course of printing, and a printing press equipped with the traverser. SOLUTION: In the traverser, a unit for movement supports the sensor for measurement, in a non-contact manner, an emulsion of the ink and the dampening water on the surface of an ink roller of the press, by the medium of a supporting part of the sensor for measurement, and the unit is equipped with a carrying mechanism part which moves the sensor along the axial direction of the ink roller, in no contact with the roller, and stops it at a measuring position, while the unit disposes and supports the sensor at positions separating from the carrying mechanism part. In the printing press, the carrying mechanism part is disposed outside a printing press unit, while the sensor for measurement is disposed inside this unit. |
