PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass sheet which can be used as a constituent material such as light floor, exhibits sliding resistivity and is high in strength when a person walks thereon. SOLUTION: The glass sheet having sliding resistivity is produced by welding highly hard particles having abrasion resistance on the surface of a glass sheet G as a substrate. This glass sheet is produced by applying a mixture of highly hard particles and low melting point glass ink on the surface of the cleaned and dried substrate glass sheet is a prescribed pattern (A), heating the same at the melting temperature of the low melting point glass ink and welding the highly hard particles on the surface of the glass sheet. Alumina particles, silicone carbide particles and garnet particles, or the like, can be used as the highly hard particles and the size thereof is preferably 50-500μm.
