PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feed sealing device capable of easily performing work for restoring paper jamming or the like between rollers. SOLUTION: The paper feed sealing device is controlled so as to perform the operation of a pressure bonding mode, wherein a roller drive means 162 is operated in such a state that the gap between a pair of rollers 117 and 118 is adjusted to a predetermined size by operating gap adjusting means 132, 134, 136 and 163 to bond superposed paper pieces under pressure, and the operation of a pressure release mode for stopping the roller drive means and operating the gap adjusting means 132, 134, 136 and 163 to sufficiently expand the gap between a pair of the rollers 117 and 118 so that no pressure acts even if the superposed paper pieces are passed through the gap between a pair of the rollers 117 and 118.
