PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which does not cause an image blur by relieving the load fluctuation of a drive part caused when a paper sheet rushes in and exit from a fixing part. SOLUTION: In a drive system which drives a transportation part 117, a fixing part 118, an inner transport roller 131, an exterior transport roller 132, and an auxiliary roller 133 by a motor C, a drive transmission means using a timing belt is placed on the drive transmission path (b) of the transportation part 117 to relieve the load fluctuation caused in rollers 131 to 133, etc., thereby the transportation part 117 is driven by constant speed.
