PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a resin layer excellent in toner cleaning performance and stability to the burr of a cleaning blade and to provide a method for producing the photoreceptor, an image forming method, an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor obtained by disposing a resin layer on an electrically conductive substrate, the resin layer is a layer containing a resin having a polyarylate component, a siloxane condensation product component and an electric charge transporting structure component.
