PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repair pit facilitating a connection securing watertightness. SOLUTION: An adhesive is applied to the upper surface of the inclined face portion 25a of an invert member 21 placed on the invert part 11 of an existing public pit 4. The adhesive is applied to the lower surface of the flange part 63a of a communicating member 51. An engagement protrusion 26a of the invert member 21 is engaged in an engagement hole in the communicating member 51. With the flange part 63a of the communicating member 51 pressed against the inclined face portion 25a of the invert member 21, the flange part 63a can be joined to the inclined face portion 25a. The connection of the communicating member 51 can be easily made while securing watertightness to the invert member 21.
