PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a cellulose acylate film with improve surface condition of the film and no problems on mechanical characteristics, etc., of the film. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the cellulose acylate film is characterized by casting and forming layers of a least two layers by means of co-casting, and the method is also characterized by a constitution in which the cellulose acylate solution substantially comprises a non-chlorine type solution and the non-chlorine type solvent comprises a mixed solvent of at least a ketone with a solubility parameter of 19-21 and an ester with a solubility parameter of 19-20, and the viscosity at 0 deg.C of a solution for the outer layer is higher than the viscosity at 0 deg.C of a solution for the inner layer.
