LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY WITH WIDE VIEWING ANGLE

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display with wide viewing angle is provided to secure wide viewing angle and eliminate disclination to improve luminance of the liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display includes the first substrate, a transparent electrode that is formed on the first substrate and has the first opening, the second substrate opposite to the first substrate, and a pixel electrode that is formed on the second substrate and has the second opening. The first and second openings(13,23) divide the pixel electrode into a plurality of minute domains. Among the boundaries of the minute domains, the first boundary defined by the first opening and the second boundary defined by the second opening are curved lines that form an obtuse angle at every point or straight lines bent at an obtuse angle at least once.
