<p>Antistatic textile floor and wall coverings contg. electrically conductive particles are prepared by incorporating electrically conductive particles in impregnating or finishing compns. necessary in their mfre. The particles may be in the form of powder, chips, filings, etc. of iron, steel, light metal, etc. and may be added in an amount of 0.1-99% based on the dry weight of the impregnating or finishing compn. The particles reduce the electrical charge accumulating in the floor and wall coverings and thus reduce their tendency to attract dust and other particles from their surroundings.</p> |
