PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking table pot which can steam food, heat soup, and cook rice by a single pot without spoiling taste of a food material by steam. SOLUTION: This steam cooking pot 1 comprises a pot part constituted of a water vessel 2 and an inner vessel 3, and a lid part 5. The lid part 5 and the inner vessel 3 are engaged at a rim part 3a. The water vessel 2 is laid on a base frame 6. Water (w) to be the source of steam is filled inside the water vessel 2. The inner vessel 3 is also put in the water vessel 2 and a food material S is put in the inner vessel 3. Water is heated by flame of solid fuel 10 placed in the base frame 6 and steam (J) generated thereby is guided into the inner vessel 3 through a hole part 3h from the inside of the water vessel 2 to enable steam to heat the whole surface of the food material S. Because the opening area of the hole part 3h can be adjusted by rotating the lid part 5, it is possible to heat the inner vessel 3 without guiding steam inside.
