A foamed article which comprises 10 to 40 wt % of a paper powder component made from used governmental post cards as a main component, 25 to 40 wt % of a starch component as an auxiliary agent, and 35 to 50 wt % of polypropylene resin component. The foamed article can be used for producing a shock absorbing material and a thermal insulating material exhibits a significantly greater restoring force and is significantly more flexible as compared to a conventional foamed article using general used paper, and is friendly to the environment due to the use of a non-aromatic resin. |
