PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate working method and a working die thereof capable of reasonably working the plate by using a forming die with the manufacturing function effective when employed in forming an article having a relatively wide area. SOLUTION: In the working step of forming a three-dimensional shape having a corner part using a plate material, the shape is formed while trimming excess portions produced in forming a part forming a corner by using dies 21 and 25 having a pinch trimming mechanism (a cutting blade 24 is provided on a corner forming part 23 of one die, and excess portions are trimmed by a corner forming part 26 of the other die and the cutting blade 24). The working die split in the width direction of a product is used, and when forming a product of large length, the split die is moved for the forming, and a plurality of kinds of products of different length can be formed by using a common die.
