A peristaltic pump providing a mechanism for varying tubing occlusion in combination with a ramming mechanism which facilitates opening and closing of the pump and including adjustable screw bearing means for effecting fine adjustments in the position of the occlusion bed to thereby vary the occlusion of the tubing.
