PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door device for a display case which can be correctly and easily positioned at a closing position when the door is to be closed. SOLUTION: This door 2 can be pulled out to this side at the closing position and moved in the right and left directions. In a closing condition the door 2 is backed up at the closing position, an engaging projection 34 is fit into an engaging groove 36 of a regulating guide body 35 to hold the door 2 immovably in the right and left directions. In a condition the door 2 is opened, the door 2 is held not to be backed up because the engaging projection 34 abuts on the front face of the regulating guide body 35. Because the door is energized in the backing up direction by a spring, when the opened door 2 is slid to the closing position, the engaging projection 34 automatically fits into the engaging groove 36 to bring the door 2 into the closed condition.
