PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic treating tank for a sewage treating device which can efficiently remove phosphorus. SOLUTION: An electrode unit 51 having at least a pair of positive and negative electrodes is arranged in a tank main body 1 having a sewage inlet 35 at one end part, and a sewage outlet 11 at the other end part, and a shelf part 15 as a guide part of the tank main body 1 which receives sewage from a sewage inlet 35 and disperses sewage to almost full width of the body 1 is formed at a lower part of the sewage inlet 35 in the tank main body 1.
