PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selectively correcting intergranular cracks and pinholes in a zeolite film and to provide a separation method which uses the treated zeolite film. SOLUTION: A coupling agent is brought into contact with one surface of the zeolite film while water is brought into contact with the other surface.
