The system is for music practice and involves keying in data, communication and ringing melodies, using the numerical keyboard of a mobile telephone, personal digital assistant and other hand-held computer and communication unit, as well as a stationary computer. Using limited interfaces, non-musicians have the possibility to play music correctly and in a meaningful manner on these interfaces, without special qualifications. - The technique combines the numerical keyboard with a software system, which converts the keyed-in values to different correct tones and rhythm values, all in accordance with selected musical precepts.
