PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket with excellent sliding property and sealing property and to provide a syringe provided with it. SOLUTION: The syringe is provided with an outer cylinder 2, the gasket 3 slidable inside the outer cylinder 2 and a plunger 4 for moving the gasket 3. The gasket 3 is constituted of a member whose outer shape is almost columnar and a skirt part 31 is formed at the tip side outer peripheral part thereof. The skirt part 31 is a part in contact with the inner surface 26 of the outer cylinder 2 and the outside diameter is gradually increased toward the tip. On the inner peripheral side of the skirt part 31, a ring-like recessed part 32 whose cross section is U-shaped is formed. At a gasket center part on the inner side of the skirt part 31, an air chamber 34 is formed. The air chamber 34 is sectioned by the inner surface on the tip side of the gasket 3 and the tip surface 411 of a head part 41. |
