PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arc welding machine which is equipped with a DC high voltage generator and which is excellent in operation safety. SOLUTION: A warming lamp 30 is connected to the input side of the DC high voltage generator 21 in parallel with the generator 21. When a switch 24 is closed in order to generate a DC high voltage, the lamp 30 is turned onto indicate the applying of DC high voltage to a welding loading circuit 15 between an output terminal 10 and 11.
