PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct fire cooking tool for tomato or the like that can help reduce time, prevent loss of a nutrition value, and can deliciously and simply prepare a meal. SOLUTION: As shown in Fig. 1, a direct fire cooking tool has three metal skewers 1, 2 and 3 different in length provided in a handle portion 4, and the metal skewers 1, 2 and 3 are inserted into the surrounding of the calyx of tomato. The handle portion 4 is rotated above an ignited gas fire. As the skin can be easily peeled, by rotating the skewer portion in cold water, one can remove the calyx, cut the tomato to an appropriate size and eat.
