STERILIZATION DEVICE UTILIZING HIGH VOLTAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a distance between a discharge side electrode and a ground side electrode longer than before without the need of considerable power in a sterilization device utilizing a high voltage. SOLUTION: Inside a tunnel-like covering body 10, a belt conveyor 11 is provided along the length direction, the discharge side electrode 3 is disposed above the belt conveyor 11 and the ground side electrode 4 is disposed below the going path side of the belt conveyor 11. Needle-like electrodes 3a are disposed in an almost zigzag shape at prescribed intervals for the discharge side electrode 3, the ground side electrode 4 is constituted in a planar shape and the distance between both electrodes is made to roughly 30 mm. A sterilization object 12 is supplied onto the belt conveyor 11 and carried at a fixed speed, high voltage pulse streamer discharge is generated between the respective needle- like electrodes 3a of the discharge side electrode 3 and the ground side electrode 4 and the sterilization object 12 is sterilized.
