PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a coated endless belt which controls liquid sagging in the circumferential direction and can form a uniform coating layer on the whole peripheral surface and an apparatus for the method. SOLUTION: The method for producing the coated endless belt has a process in which an endless belt substrate is at least formed cylindrically and held and a process in which the substrate with its central axis arranged horizontally is rotated around the central axis, and a coating liquid is applied on the peripheral surface. The apparatus for the method and the coated endless belt produced by the apparatus are provided.
